Saien looks... unusual, with different styles all combined in his image, yet instead of clashing, they form an unique appearance. First is his hair. It could be described as somewhat punk like in modern setting - sides of his head are nearly shaved off, with few clean lines going trough, most hair on his head is gathered in spikes right up in air, while the rest falls on his forehead, nearly in his eyes. And these bangs are not black, like rest of the hair, but bright purple at tips.
In clothing, he picks either typically regal elven wear or something very common. Most importantly, it has to be warm. This man is bundled up in coats, scarves and gloves even in warm springtime or autumn and it is not much better in summer either. If you hear him complaining about something, it will most likely be about cold, but he is not much of a whiner.
Saien is medium built, maybe on the tall side when he fully straightens up. He does not seem to have a lot of muscles, but neither is he a weakling. Due to nature of his powers, he prefers to use strength and agility only until he has chance to touch the enemy, however.
His eyes are another unusual thing about him - right is pale purple, in color nearly identical to sister's (maybe only a bit brighter at times), the other purely black, no difference between the pupil. Saien does not seem to be blind with it, however. The expression in them is usually amused and light, but he has rather... piercing stare at times. If one would observe him carefully for longer time, they would realize these eyes conceal much more than they show.
Generally, he and Iantha are very similar and their shared blood cannot be denied when they stand next to each other. He has darker skin, however, from time spent in the sun and in opposition to her serious expressions and attitude, he smiles a lot and has rather active mannerism, gesturing often. In his left ear, he has a silver earring with amethyst and on his forehead is a tattoo. It is slightly star shaped, but more like some strange symbol. He does not particularly try to hide it, even if the hair does a good job at it, nor to show it.

Although it does not show easily, Saien has many layers to his personality, the deepest ones not known to anyone but himself. Now even his sister, whom he has not seen for so long, does not know the man truly. All that was important to him before is now slightly twisted and taken to a whole new, nearly obsessive level.
But for what is seen... He is very pleasant. With good, although at times strange, humor sense, he is the good hearted person who will play the peacemaker or attempt to cheer up any upset or angry person. He loves to laugh and is often very silly, just out of fun and his own feelings. Naturally very helpful, he will not refuse a request. And if he rejects, Saien is very careful about it, always trying to avoid hurting anyone's feelings. He would seem like a lady's man, because he gives a lot of compliments and smiles, but he does not have any relationships with them and an elderly lady will receive the same attention
But to much surprise, when questioned too many personal questions, especially by someone he barely knows, he will 'lock up'. At first it will happen with a joke, or tricky answer that gives no true explanation, but if pestered more, his mouth corners will fall and he will become serious and quiet down. So, in the end, no one knows what really is going on in his mind or heart, but some people wonder - if he hides it like this, can it be anything good?
Saien, eldest of the twins, grew up much more clearly seeing the tattered remains of his family. And so, for as long as he can remember him self, more than mother and father, more than anything else, he has loved his sister. The girl grew up sheltered and supported by him, clinging to him like pea flower to fence.
When the time came for their mother to chose who will follow in her footsteps, the boy grew worried and prayed, swore that no matter the Fate's choice, he will not abandon his sister. And he thought he would be able to easily fulfill this promise when they both were chosen. So, their life continued as before - depending on each other for everything.
And then one day, he did not wake up nearby Iantha, but in place he vaguely recognized as Dream World. From thereon, was his journey to return home and also find him self. And when he did, far too much time had passed and his sister - long since disappeared. But Saien knew - he would find her, he had to. And so, his new journey begins.
In his journey trough the other realities and realms, Saien has advanced a lot trough his ability levels. He controls his powers much better now, but it comes with various prices, such as he finds it harder to not get involved, not influence dreams of others. The man's tattoo represents his link to Dream Realm where a big part of his soul and spirit is now locked in forever and it is painful for him to maintain a physical, not simply illusory body for a long time. That's why he is always cold and dressing warm. Sometimes, he stays here only as a Illusion, reflection of him self which leads to some thinking he is actually a ghost or something like that.
Other than his powers, he uses sword in battle, but it is more for defense than actually harming someone, as stated before.
